Grab a group of friends and family and join the first Friends' Shiawassee River BINGO paddle event. Register by clicking the blue button. Launch between 9am-11am on Saturday, August 29th at any of the three launches (see below), where a Friends of the Shiawassee River volunteer will greet you, provide you your BINGO cards, and help you launch if needed.
Paddle the river and look for landmarks, local wildlife and complete fun tasks to get as many BINGOS as you can! Compete within your group to see who can get the most. This is a great activity to do as a family, to enjoy time on the river and have some fun learning as you do it! Also, as an added benefit, you'll be entered into the Friends of the Shiawassee River kayak raffle taking place on Sept 9th.
Take a picture, post on Facebook, and tag The Friends of the Shiawassee River to show us how well you did! Save your laminated BINGO card and play again on a different stretch of the river anytime!
BINGO cards are $5 each. Get one per group or one for each person and compete against each other!
