Space is limited for this event, you must register to attend!

Schedule: 

11:30 -  Drop off Kayak/Canoe at DeVries then drive to Henderson Park for vehicle drop off. 

Noon - Indian Trails Bus Leaves Henderson Park and will give paddlers a ride to DeVries. YOU MUST BE ON BUS BY NOON FOR A RIDE BACK TO DEVRIES.

Lunch at DeVries Nature Conservancy. Hotdogs, hamburgers and more! 

1pm - Paddles wet! Join us on this beautiful stretch of the river, with an option to join Genesee County Conservation District CISMA director who will educate paddlers about aquatic invasive species on the Shiawassee River.

3:30 - End paddle at Henderson Park (where your vehicle is parked). 

There is no fee for this event but donations are welcome!

When many groups collaborate we can make an awesome river event for all! 

This event is a joint effort by DeVries Nature Conservancy and Friends of the Shiawassee River.

The invasive species paddle will be guided by Genesee Conservation District, Shiawassee Conservation District, Shiawassee River Water Trail Coalition. The paddle is funded by Michigan Clean Boats, Clean Waters
